The objective of the Hungarian Microfinance Network (HMNI, member of EMN since 2006, is to make the joining parties co-operate, and to synchronise and co-ordinate their activities in order to develop microfinance. It is a priority that the members co-operate in the further development and popularisation of microfinance performed in order to fight poverty and impoverishment, paying special attention to the introduction of good practices of foreign ‘non-bank microfinance’ institutions in Hungary.
