The CEB - Council of Europe Development Bank has launched a call for proposals for a new Blending Facility for Microfinance, aimed at advancing inclusive finance across Europe.

This initiative is open to microfinance institutions that are existing or prospective CEB borrowers with an InvestEU-backed loan and are committed to supporting vulnerable entrepreneurs —such as migrants, young people (including NEETs), Roma, etc. – both from urban and rural areas. The Blending Facility will support these organizations in providing vulnerable (aspiring) micro-entrepreneurs with essential business development services and/or interest rate subsidies alongside microcredits.
