Description
The 2018 MFC-EMN Annual Conference Idea Lab is a group of practitioners and experts drawn from MFC and EMN members that will be actively involved in shaping the agenda of the MFC-EMN Annual Conference, which will take place in Bilbao in October 2018.
Description of the workplan/activities to be implemented
Members of the Idea Lab are expected to:
- Elaborate the conference topic to complement and build upon the main theme,
- Identify other topics of interest that can be included in the agenda,
- Design the conference plenary sessions and workshops to reflect the main theme and other topics,
- Design the conference sessions in such a way that they are lively and interactive,
- Suggest key-note speakers and moderators for conference plenaries,
- Identify and invite speakers with specific intrests and areas of expertise to join a workshop.
Expected outputs
A comprehensive conference theme and agenda that includes a set of objectives for the event; a complete programme of interactive and engaging workshops, plenaries and other sessions; and a suitable list of speakers with expert knowledge on the topics under discussion.
