Women’s creative talents are not being used to their fullest extent, even in Europe, and for economic and social reasons, we need to have more women entrepreneurs contributing their innovative ideas to solving problems our societies face, now and in the future. Furthermore, millions of women of all ages in Europe are unemployed or underemployed, and also because of new ways of working, may have little or no hope of ever finding paid working positions. It is only through starting their own businesses that they may be able to earn a decent living for themselves and their families, to take part in society, contributing their share to economic development and prosperity, and ensuring their basic needs are covered as they grow older.
