Background and mission
The Romanian Microfinance Association (RMFA) was registered in December 2020, at the initiative of 14 Romanian microfinance institutions with the support from the MFC project "EU-level NGOs networks active in the promotion of social inclusion and poverty reduction or microfinance and social enterprise finance". The purpose of RMFA is to carry out activities in the interest of the microfinance community represented by the microfinance institutions, respectively to promote and protect the professional interests of its members, as well as for educating and developing the business community and the public in microfinance and business development support services.
