We are pleased to invite you to join us on October 16th for a new SIFTA Webinar on "Youth Employment?".
The transition from school to work and brain drain are just two of the challenges faced by the younger generations, usually overqualified, yet frequently underemployed. The luckiest ones seek employment during the global financial crisis and soon after, a pandemic. Meanwhile, those who fled conflict zones face additional obstacles in obtaining citizenship and accessing basic rights in various European countries. It does not come as a surprise that youth employment is at the forefront of the European political agenda. The volatile nature of the job market requires adaptable and tailored support that takes into account shifting political, economic, and social macro-systemic factors as well as the local context and related opportunities.
Our speaker, Giulia Parola, Project Lead at the European Center for Social Finance at Munich Business School, will help us identify solutions and measures that could help improve youth employment across Europe. Interested in joining the webinar? Register at the this link.
