Join us for a webinar that explores OECD work on inclusive entrepreneurship, including the OECD-EU Better Entrepreneurship Policy Tool and The Missing Entrepreneurs 2023. The Tool is a free online self-assessment and learning tool for inclusive and social entrepreneurship policies and programmes and allows users to reflect on inclusive and social entrepreneurship policies and programmes in their city, region or country using self-assessments focused on specific groups of entrepreneurs (e.g. women, youth, seniors, the unemployed, migrants, under-represented and disadvantaged population groups) or social enterprises. The questionnaires cover key policy issues, such as the policy design, access to finance, entrepreneurship skills, and the regulatory environment for each group. The discussion will also cover key insights from The Missing Entrepreneurs 2023, which is the 7th edition in the OECD-EU series of reports that examine inclusive entrepreneurship policies. The report shows that there are substantial untapped opportunities for entrepreneurship in populations such as women, youth, seniors, the unemployed, people with disabilities and immigrants and highlights the need for more differentiated government entrepreneurship policies that respond to the specific barriers they face. Joining us as speakers there will be Helen Shymanski, from the OECD’s Entrepreneurship Policy Analysis and Evaluation Unit, and David Halabisky, from the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities.
