The European Microfinance Network (EMN) and the Microfinance Centre (MFC) are pleased to announce that their joint annual conference, in partnership with Seed Capital Bizkaia Micro, will take place from 3-5 October 2018 in Bilbao, Spain

Exploring the themes of future technological challenges and digitalisation opportunities, the conference will focus discussions on

The Euskalduna Conference Centre, located in the very heart of the city, will host the event providing a unique backdrop to the annual conference.

The event will be a meeting of minds and ideas and will be the perfect opportunity for members and other industry experts to network, exchange experiences, learn from an impressive line-up of guests and even lay the groundwork for successful partnerships going forward.

Upwards of 600 participants are expected to attend the conference this year from East and West Europe, Central Asia, the Caucasus and even further afield.

EMN and MFC’s respective annual conferences have always been the highest profile events on financial inclusion and microfinance in the region and this joint venture will be no exception. Annual Conference

Every year since 2004, EMN organises its Annual Conference, a major meeting in the sector's agenda bringing together all its actors. Today, our conferences bring together around 250 participants with varying backgrounds, attract sponsors and investors along with EU representatives, and are a wonderful experience for information exchange and networking for everyone interested in European microfinance.
