A call for proposals on transaction cost support in the area of social enterprise finance under the Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) programme has just been published.
This call for proposals is aimed at financial intermediaries that undertake long-term risk capital investments of less than EUR 500 000 in the form of equity, quasi-equity or hybrid financing to social enterprises in the EaSI participating countries. The grant will support transaction costs linked to these investments, thus helping catalyse risk capital investment in the area of social finance.
Deadline for submitting proposals is 21 March 2019.

A similar call for proposals was launched in 2017. Thanks to the support received, grant beneficiaries from Belgium, Spain, France, Germany and Italy are currently preparing small risk-capital investments into social enterprises.
