The Support for migrant women’s social and economic integration initiative under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) 2025 focuses on addressing the unique challenges migrant women face in accessing employment and social participation. The call for proposal is structured in 5 topics with two interesting topics for our sector:1. Support measures for migrant women’s social and economic integration
Objectives
- Increase labour market participation: Migrant women often experience higher unemployment rates and overqualification for jobs compared to native-born women.
- Develop targeted support measures to include migrant women in the labour market
- Whole-family approach: Recognizing that family dynamics impact integration, the initiative promotes civic and labour market inclusion programs that consider the entire family structure.
- Empowerment of vulnerable groups: Special attention is given to migrant mothers, women with low education, and those who have experienced trauma.
- Multi-stakeholder cooperation: Encourages collaboration between local authorities, employers, civil society groups, and migrant-led organizations.
- Develop good practices on the integration of migrant women
Activities that can be funded
- Awareness campaigns: Informing migrant women about their rights and opportunities in the labour market.
- Integrated support programs: Combining language training, upskilling, childcare access, and psycho-social support.
- Mentorship schemes: Connecting migrant women with local professionals to enhance their social and economic integration.
- Community participation initiatives: Encouraging cultural, social, and political involvement to strengthen their role in society.
- Training for public officials: Raising awareness among employment service providers about the specific needs of migrant women.
- Conferences, workshops and mutual learning activities aimed at exchanging experience and disseminating good practices in relation to integration support to migrant women.

2. Improving digital skills among migrants
The Improving digital skills among migrants’ initiative under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) 2025 aims to bridge the digital divide and enhance migrants’ ability to navigate modern technology.Objectives
- Enhance digital literacy: Many migrants face barriers in accessing online services due to limited digital skills.
- Promote inclusion: Digital proficiency is crucial for employment, education, and social participation.
- Support migrant entrepreneurs: Helping migrants leverage digital tools for business development and financial independence.
- Ensure accessibility: Digital services should be user-friendly and culturally adapted to diverse migrant communities.
Activities that can be funded
- Digital training programs: Courses on basic digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and online job applications.
- Mentorship initiatives: Pairing migrants with tech professionals to improve their digital skills.
- Community-based digital hubs: Establishing local tech centers where migrants can access training and support.

3. Eligibility and conditions for applications:
Eligible Participants
- Public authorities (national, regional, and local)
- Economic and social partners
- Employers and businesses
- Civil society organizations, including migrant-led organizations
- Research institutions and universities (if relevant to the project)
Consortium Requirements
- Projects must involve at least two organizations from different EU Member States.
- Strong preference for multi-stakeholder partnerships, including local/regional authorities and migrant-led organizations.
