DISCOVER THE OPPORTUNITIES
Working Groups at the European Microfinance Network play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation among members. By participating in these groups, members can enhance their expertise, influence policy discussions, and contribute to the collective growth of the European microfinance community, while discussing key industry challenges, exchanging best practices, and developing practical solutions to strengthen the microfinance sector.
Advocacy Committee
EMN actively engages with EU institutions to advocate for policies that support the development of microfinance across Europe.
EMN works to influence key decision-makers by promoting microfinance as a tool for social inclusion, entrepreneurship, and economic growth, particularly for underserved communities.
Through position papers, consultations, and direct dialogue with the European Commission, Council and Parliament, the European Investment Bank and others, EMN seeks to shape EU regulations and funding programs that benefit the microfinance ecosystem.

Non-financial Services Working Group
This group focuses on improving access to non-financial services like training, mentoring, and business development for micro-entrepreneurs through collaboration, research, and sharing best practices among members.
This working group plays a significant role in advancing the European microfinance sector by recognizing that providing capital alone is often insufficient without the accompanying support services.

National Network Working Group
This group brings together microfinance networks from across the EU and candidate countries, united by a shared mission to strengthen micro-entrepreneurship and create lasting economic impact.
Through collaboration, research, and the exchange of best practices, the group focuses on strengthening access to important non-financial services like training, mentoring, and business development. It recognizes that capital alone isn’t enough to support micro-entrepreneurs; comprehensive support services are essential to their success.
By working closely with national networks, we empower local communities, create jobs, and align with the EU’s priorities for inclusive growth.
