From Strategy to Digital Roadmap: A practical toolbox to set the right priorities and identify the best solutions for your MFI.
This series of two webinars is intended for small to medium MFIs who want to develop or refine their digital strategy and build a roadmap for the next 3-5 years. The webinars are part of the Social Inclusive Finance Technical Assistance (SIFTA) initiative, managed by the EIB.
Both webinars will be held by Jente Minne (expert in digitalisation from Strategies and Leaders) and Samuel Paulus (Senior Manager of Microlux). They will alternate between theory and practice and share practical tools that can be used by your MFI.
If you want to start working or improving your digital strategy, or you simply want to get some input on how to re-organize your strategic objectives, join us for this insightful series of training! You will also get the chance to share your inputs and needs for future Technical Assistance.
This first session will focus on a translation from the overall strategy to a digital vision and on how the MFI can select the right challenges and opportunities to attend with digital. We will touch on the following points:
- Introduction: importance of a digital strategy
- General explanation of the approach
- Theory of change
- Brainstorm on main challenges/opportunities
- Map your IT architecture
- Digital strategy KPIs
Experts:
Jente Minne: Jente has 10 years of experience in the social economy sector of which 8 years in microfinance. From 2016 he was responsible for the digital transformation of microStart and in 2018 he became head of IT. His main task were the definition and implementation of a digital transformation strategy from A to Z, as well as the maintenance of the system and the IT-park. Since then, microStart has evolved from an organization without any digital strategy to an example on how digitalization can be done with limited resources. He now works as an independent consultant for Strategies and Leaders
Samuel Paulus: Senior Manager at microlux since 2016. Microlux is the first microfinance institution for Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Microlux provides microcredits and coaching to support entrepreneurs and start-ups through the process of setting up and developing their business. These small credits are available for entrepreneurs who do not have access to any traditional bank credit granted by banks or financial institutions.
